
Dr. Peter Feringa graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. From there, he went to Los Angeles, where he studied under Dr. Stephen Ettinger for two years. In 1988, he married Kara Garbo and together they have triplets - Brett, Megan, and Ellen, who were born in 1996. Dr. Feringa owned Bay Animal Hospital from 1991 until 2009. He then moved back to Louisiana and purchased Hillside Veterinary Associates. Dr. Feringa has a special interest in internal medicine and cardiology. He is an avid fisherman and loves to be outdoors.

Dr. Stephanie Conner was born in Belle Chasse, LA. She attended Archbishop Blenk High School, then Louisiana State University, majoring in Animal Science. After marrying her husband, Ben, she graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. The Conner family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked at a busy, multi-doctor practice until her daughter, Landry, was born. She moved back to the Northshore in 2010, where she now resides in Covington. Dr. Conner and her family have a horse, cats, and 2 dogs, Lacey and Drogo. Dr. Conner has been with Hillside Animal Clinic since December 2013, and she is very happy to be a part of the community! In her spare time, Dr. Conner is an avid LSU and Saints football fan and enjoys going to the games with her family.

Dr. Margaret Borne grew up in Covington, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2012. She then went on to attend LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her doctorate in 2016. Dr. Borne first realized her passion for veterinary medicine when she began working at Hillside as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant during summer breaks and holidays throughout her years as an undergraduate student. She is very excited to be back at Hillside, practicing medicine where her career began. Dr. Borne and her husband, Brett, are LSU fans and enjoy attending football games, as well as traveling in their free time.
